The Philadelphia Police Department's Accident Investigations Unit is looking for the whereabouts of the suspect for a fatal hit and run in Paschall.
On February 17, 2014, at 5:03pm, the complainant, a 32 year-old male, was standing in the shoulder of the westbound lane of the of the 6200 block of Kingsessing Avenue attempting to repair his bicycle. During this time a possible dark colored Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling west on Kingsessing Avenue struck the complainant severely injuring him. This vehicle briefly came to a stop then continued traveling west on Kingsessing Avenue. The complainant was transported to The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with severe head injuries where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced.
Vehicle Description: Dark colored Jeep Cherokee.
